"California Sunrise"- A 48 x 48 watercolor on wood canvas.
This work is the fourth addition to my "Pattern's in the Wood" landscape series.
California is a beautiful state no doubt full of wonder and surprise.
One of my childhood memories places me here vising my sister in Carlsbad 1983.Upon waking one morning during the visit she asked me if I had felt the mini earth quake during the night to which I replied, I was wondering why the house was shaking. I had half slept though it and though nothing of it.
It is humorous how feeling the earth quake (or Move) has a different meaning when you are older.
