Description

Sweet Emotions - by Barbara Lee Donovan is photography of a collage I made comprised of items meant to either excite or stir up feelings of either betrayal, heartbreak, shock, or fear. I originally sketched the eye with a slate pencil and thought it looked a lot like Janet Leigh the actress from the Alfred Hitchcock movie Psycho at the moment she realized she was being stabbed in the shower. Shear horror. Emotions come in all forms it's the beauty of being human and with the eye being the window to the soul it's expression in this piece says it all. Perhaps it is sweet or perhaps it is not.
