Artist's Description
Silent Lucidity- Is a dedication piece to the memory of my mother. The title comes from a late 1980's song by Queesnsryche. I often listen to music while painting in my studio and this song came on the radio as I was finishing this piece. I found the lyrics and mood of the song to go well when viewing the work. The landscape is a sunrise with clouds streaming into the heavens. The bright and bold colors symbolizing a journey has begun leaving behind beautiful memories and peace immeasurable. The word lucidity mean clarity. I believe my mother has found that now.
