Artist's Description
"American Norman"- Is a 24 x 36 horizontal acrylic and oil over wrapped canvas. Inspired by the locality farm life, upcoming season theme and then naming the piece Norman while thinking about how much the young cow looks like the calf in the movie City Slickers with Billy Crystal. After painting an American flag on the barn in the background with a tin roof the name American Norman was chosen. This particular piece has lots of detail in the fur of the cow as well as the barn in the distance. Looks like Norman got out somehow in the early morning as the sky is a glowing soft yellow and pink. Norman just wanted to greet you and say good morning I suppose or reckon depending on where you are from.
The original has sold. Would make a great gift for the cow or farmhouse look enthusiast.
