The barren Fig- a 24 x 36 acrylic on canvas done Fall of 2020.
This painting Depicts the fig tree parable biblically by Jesus. The parable reflects Jesus offering a chance for repentance and forgiveness of sin, showing his grace towards believers. Luke 13:6-9
The original is available for purchase at Southern Trends in Huntsville AL as of Dec 2020.
PLEASE note that the original has a heart carved within the trunk that reads "LOVES US STILL."
Even though we are sinners God forgives and loves us still. This painting is a good reminder.
